Self-Healing Qigong and Meditation
This 7-week online series will include a variety of Sheng Zhen forms, including Sheng Zhen Healing, Awakening the Soul, and Gathering Qi. We will be seated most of the time, but you can modify the movements for standing if that is better for you. See below for descriptions of the main forms we will explore in this series.
Sheng Zhen Healing, Stage 1
Sheng Zhen Healing Stage One consists of ten gentle movements, done sitting in a chair (although, it can be modified for standing if you prefer). The repeated movements help the practitioner receive healing energy from the universe, thereby harnessing the power of nature for healing. Like other Sheng Zhen forms, this practice helps relax the body, balance the emotions, quiet the mind, and uplift the spirit. Its ultimate purpose is to open the heart to reveal one’s original state of profound peace and unconditional love. Over time, the presence of healing energy and unconditional love becomes palpable. This practice is recommended for all, but is especially important for those with cancer or other serious illness.

Awakening the Soul and Gathering Qi
Join me for the heart-opening, happy-making movements and contemplations of Awakening the Soul, a form of Sheng Zhen Meditation ~ in Motion and Stillness.
Awakening the Soul is a series of 8 easy and gentle movements accompanied by poetic, uplifting, and empowering contemplations. You will also learn Gathering Qi.
